April 2021 Debt & Life UpdateHappy Friday. I hope all is well with you. Today is my monthly update post. This has been a pretty busy month, but I was able to get some things done.

I’ve managed to get my domain authority to 38-40 depending on where you check (Moz, Ahrefs, Semrush). This is currently the highest that it’s ever been. Everything that I’m doing to build links is working. I’m still looking to build more, so if you have a blog or a podcast and need a guest post or guest, I’m your man.

I also have some great content coming out for you next month.

Resell Business

I had a chance to go through all the items that I purchased in the eBay store lot. In my previous update, I stated that it was 170 items. I was wrong. It was more like 310. I paid $375 for all of them. I basically spent $1.20 per item. It was a hell of a deal. I’ve already made half the money back. After that haul I realized a couple of things. For me its about quality of items instead of quantity. There’s a lot of items that I usually don’t sell in this lot. Some are low earners and others are just not in my niches. I’m going to put some of the items in lots to get them sold quicker. Once it’s all said and done, I’ll probably double or triple my investment. At the end of the day, that’s good.

Every month, I share 5 of my recent sales of the month. Here are the sales from April.

I picked this Motobecane cycling jersey for $3.99. It sold for $30.

I paid $2.64 for this Ga Tech Buzz bobblehead. It sold for $32.

I paid $2.64 for this Age of Empire II computer game. It sold for $68.99.

I paid $15.29 for this Tracer Projector. It sold for $50.

I purchased this Kate Spade purse for $5 from an Estate sale. It sold for $29.99.

My current debt is $48,695.05. That’s a drop of $983.62. I know that I say this every month, but it feels good. Eliminating debt hits different when you actually see the numbers go down. The struggle from 2015-2018 was real. It prepared me for what’s happening right now. Let’s look at the numbers.

Earnest ⬇️ $19,636.67 to $18,953.05

Nelnet ⬇️ $30,042 to $29,742

I refinanced my private student loan with Earnest a few years ago. Refinancing my loans helped me get a lower payment. It also lowered the interest rate. Refinancing your student loans may help you as well.  If you’re approved for refinancing, you will also get a $200 bonus. Visit their site here today.

The numbers are still trending in the right direction. I’m ready to see 40K, then 30K, then 20K, etc. I have no doubt that I’ll be able to add more to the debt.
