January 2020 Debt & Life Update

It’s the last Friday of the month, so you know what time it is. It’s time for my monthly update post. This has been a hell of a month. Before I dive into what I’ve been doing, I want to say Rest in Peace to Kobe Bryant. It feels surreal to be typing that. Kobe was one of my favorite players of all time. A lot of folks, including myself are still trying to process this tragedy. Condolences to everyone that lost their lives in the accident.

I had my third annual Vision Board Party a few weeks ago. 15 people showed up and created their vision for 2020 and beyond. The party was a success. Below are a few pictures from the event

As far as the business and side hustles, things are going well. My eBay sales were lower this month than they were in December. That’s to be expected. People aren’t spending as much due to Christmas. Mercari has been doing well this month though. Below you’ll see five of my online sales from this month

I purchased these two International Santa Claus figures for $4. I sold them on Mercari for $27.

I found this Lil Wayne Jersey for $2.9o. I flipped it for $13.6 on Poshmark.

Next up is this Cynthia Cooper Jersey. I paid $4.02. I sold it on Mercari for $29.

I purchased this Steve McNair Tennessee Titans jersey for $7.29.  It sold for $30.

I paid $3.69 for this Shaq Jersey. It sold for $35.

My debt went from $63,824.55 to $62,920.60. That’s a decrease of $903.95. That’s my second biggest decline ever. 2020 is starting out on a very good note. I have to keep this going. Let’s look at the numbers.

Discover ⬇️ from $1781 to $1366

Car Note ⬇️ from $6203.60 to $6066.44

Earnest ⬇️ from $21,595.22 to $21,525.41

Nelnet ⬇️ from $34,244.73 to $33,962.76

I plan on going harder. I have a couple of things that I’m working on that will bring more income. Also, as the days warm up and get longer, I’ll probably start back doing Uber Eats a couple of times each week.
