October 2016 Debt UpdateHere is my debt update for the month.

October 2016 Debt Update

My total debt went from $67,683.30 to $67,509.80. That was a decrease of $174.30. I did better this month than I did in September, but not by much.

The Numbers

Loan 2 – Down from $5810 to $5800

BOA Credit Card – Down from $800.11 to $750.15

Chase Card – Down from $1795 to $1770

Navient – Down from $24,414.04 to $24,326.40

Nelnet – Down from $34,864.15 to $34,862.45

I wish I would have been able to lower my BOA credit card by more, but I have to be honest. I spent a little more than thought I did when I was out of town last month. I did incur a little more debt. I can’t let this happen again. I need for November to be a good side hustle income month for me. I still have a goal to get these amounts lower. I need to review my budget and see if I can find some more money. Did I tell you that I hate the interest for my student loans?  Half the payments for both loans go to interest instead of the principal. That freaking sucks. I can’t lie, I’m pissed looking at this report. The damn numbers aren’t moving quickly enough for me. I have less than two years to make this sh!t happen and eliminate my debt.
