February 2020 Debt & life update

Happy Friday everyone. I hope all is well. February is nearly over. This has been a busy month for me. I reached out to a few more podcast shows and recorded a couple of interviews. I also found out that I need more up to date equipment for some of them. If you have any laptop suggestions, feel free to drop them below. This is something that I knew I’d eventually need, but I need one sooner than later. I’d rather have a computer that works great and allows people to hear my voice clearly when we’re recording instead of one that lags or makes it choppy.

I also decided to do a small detox this month. The Monday after the Super Bowl I chose to not have alcohol, hot wings or fast food until March 3rd. I do small detoxes from time to time. The older I get, the more that I realize that health is wealth. I also do it to show my discipline. Without discipline, you can’t be successful. I’ve done well this month.

Historically, February has been my lowest selling month on eBay. 2020 has been no different. The sales have been lower, but in the last two days they’ve picked up. They’ll pick up even more in March. People will be getting their tax returns and the weather will be warming up.

Below you’ll see five of my sales from the past month.

I paid $6.47 for this Georgia Bulldogs jersey. It sold for $30.

I purchased these Jordans for $14. They sold for $35 on Offer Up.

I found this Passion, Profit & Power set for $2.20. It sold for $25.

I found this jersey for $3.35. It sold for $14.

I picked this Braves jersey for $5.07. It sold for $35.99.

My debt went from $62,920.60 to $61,915.07. That was a decrease of $1005.53, my biggest drop EVER (for right now). This is great. I’m looking forward to a big drop in March as well.

  1. Can’t wait to see that card gone! So excited for you.

  2. I met a guy a while back in a UPS store that told me that he was making money left and right off of Instagram alone by buying and selling used Michael Jordan sneakers. I noticed a few peer of Air Jordan’s sitting on the UPS customer table unattended while he was outside either talking on the phone or getting something out of his car. So after he came back in the store and told me that he was shipping be used Jordans out to customers that purchase them from his IG profile, it left me to wonder if I to can do the same thing. I lost his contact information but it left me curious about the money making potential online with the whole buying and selling thing. Your thoughts on this? 🙂
