October 2021 Debt & Life Update

Happy Friday. I hope that things are going well with you. October, as always was a busy month. I went out of town twice, turned in my resignation at my job, and managed to have another great month with my business.

I had the chance to visit Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona at the beginning of the month. It was a cool fun trip. I was able to go to an Arizona Diamondbacks game for the first time since 2013. I also got to tour Scottsdale. It’s a nice laid-back area. I’d definitely go back again.

I also went to Fort Lauderdale for my birthday. I wanted a cheap and easy getaway and Fort Lauderdale was it. We relaxed on the beach and ate good food the whole time we were there.

The 4th quarter is in full effect. My sales have been great this month. I expect them to keep trending upwards since it will be the holiday season soon. I currently have 296 items for sale in my store. That’s the lowest that it’s been in a while. Items keep selling, which is good. I’ll be purchasing my third Bulq box soon.

Let’s take a look at some of my recent sales.

I paid $2 for the TV/VCR combo. I sold it for $70 on OfferUp.

I paid $9.42 for these Jordan Spizikes. They sold for $55 on Poshmark.

I paid $26 for the Public Assistance game. It sold for $78 on eBay.

I purchased these Jordan 3’s for $13.06. They sold for $115 on Mercari.

These Jordan IV Pure Whites cost me $6.28. I was able to flip them for $120 on eBay.

My total debt is currently $43,688.64. That’s a drop of $683.07. I was able to put more money on it than I thought this month. My November update should be around this amount even though I have a savings goal that I’m working for.

Earnest ⬇️ $15,979.71 to $15,496.64

Nelnet ⬇️ $28.392 to $28,192

I refinanced my private student loan with Earnest a few years ago. Refinancing my loans helped me get a lower payment. It also lowered the interest rate. Refinancing your student loans may help you as well.  If you’re approved for refinancing, you will also get a $200 bonus. Visit their site here today.

These numbers are going in the right direction. I may not be under $40K by the end of December, but I should get there sometime in early 2022.

Something interesting happened to me in October. My Instagram account was disabled for some reason. I’m still trying to figure out what happened. I didn’t post anything crazy or disrespectful. Maybe someone is just hating on me. Until I get my old account back, I have created a new one. It is MyMoneyChronicles1. Make sure that you follow me over there. Also, subscribe to my YouTube channel. I’m almost at 100 subscribers

In November, I’ll be speaking at the Reseller Summit. I’ll be going over flipping items and eliminating debt. I’m excited to share these tips with you. Get your free ticket for the event below.

Last but not least, I updated my ebook, 30 Ways to Make Extra Money. You can find it on Amazon and Gumroad.
