September 2019 Debt & Life Update

Can you believe that September is almost over? This month started out busy for me. I was in Philly for a couple of days to visit another Major League Baseball stadium. I had the chance to visit Citizens Bank Park and watch the Philadelphia Phillies play the New York Mets. It was a nice ballpark. It was the 21st one that I’ve visited. I have about 10 or 11 to go.

After my Philly trip was over, I took the Amtrak train south to Washington DC for FinCon. This was my fifth time attending FinCon. I’m not going to get into details here, but check out my FinCon review if you want to read up on it.

I do have a few goals that I’m working on. I should be able to discuss them in next months update post. I’ll say that I’ve been a lot more focused on a couple of things. We’ll see if what I’m doing work.

As far as the business, everything is going well. I’m very close to having a $1000 month with eBay. It will happen sooner than later. I have gotten so much better with my eBay business. I know that I can help you do the same thing.

Check me out on Instagram at My Money Chronicles. On Saturday’s, I go to thrift stores around the city. I post pictures of the items that I find. I also do short videos at the thrift stores from time to time. Make sure you give me a follow. Below are five of my sales from this month.

I paid $0.80 for these Elvis Presley coffee mugs. I sold them on Facebook Marketplace for $5. I had this item in my collection for over 2 years. One of the best feelings is selling an older item.

I paid $2 for this Green Bay Packers shirt. It sold for $21.99

I copped this Natrone Means Jaguars jersey for $4.02. I was able to sell it for $49.99.

I paid $3.12 for this Star Wars Rogue One shirt. It sold for $13.

This Vincent Jackson jersey was picked up a $5.81. It sold on eBay for $35.99

This is the second month of me sharing my debt updates again. My debt went from $67,111.48 to $66,464.97. That was a decrease of $646.51. That was great because I was out of town for 8 days. October may be epic due to the fact that I probably won’t be going out of town during that month. Let’s take a look at the numbers.

Discover Card 🔽 from $3586 to $3251

Car Note 🔽 from $6755.58 to $6621.17

Earnest 🔽 from $21,859.54 to $21,801.88

Nelnet 🔽 from $34,910.36 to $34,790.92

It feels freaking awesome to see all of my debt going in the right direction. I still have a long way to go, but I have a feeling that it won’t be as long as I think it will. Check out some of the side hustle resources that I use to help me make this extra money.
