Simply insurance

Happy Friday, everyone. We’ve made it. Today’s post is the latest installment of my side hustle series. Today I feature Sa El, who’s the Co-Founder of Simply Insurance. He is a Licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent with over 11 years of experience in the industry. He is an Entrepreneur, Insurance Educator, and Field Underwriter. Let’s get today’s interview started.

How long have you been in the insurance industry?

I have been in the insurance industry for over 11 years.

How did you get into the industry?

I got into the space after my grandmother passed from ovarian cancer. We were devastated when we found out she didn’t have life insurance. I started out in the door-to-door sales space and eventually went 100% over the phone.

I went from medicare advantage to fully underwritten life insurance before I found my sweet spot.

What’s your website?

My website is Simply Insurance.

What can people expect to find on it?

You will be able to find insurance education along with the ability to purchase insurance fast and simple.

What types of insurance do you sell or promote?

Term Life, No Exam Term Life, Disability Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, Travel Insurance, Pet Insurance, Concealed Carry Coverage, Accidental Death Insurance, and Home Warranties.

Why do you think a lot of young people choose not to get insured?

They are focused on themselves and not their loved ones; they think they are buying coverage for themselves, so it’s a hard sell in their mind. They have to focus on the family that will be affected by a loss.

Is insurance expensive?

The insurance cost will depend on the type; however, people always overestimate the cost of insurance in general, especially life insurance; it is way more affordable than most people think.

Is it better to package insurance with the same carrier?

Sometimes you can get a cheaper life insurance policy by going direct with a life insurance company. Also, you want to have only one policy tied to one another. If you find a great price together, then you can for each policy separately then go for it.

Does your credit influence any insurance rates?

Yes, you do have an insurance score, and it can affect your homeowners and auto insurance rates; those are the main ones; you won’t have to worry about credit for life insurance or health insurance.

How can people get in contact with you?
